Who we are

Relevant Emails (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a web app and browser extensions that turn current news and supplied context into tailored outreach emails.

What we process

• Account & authentication. Basic account details (e.g., email) when you sign in.
• Subscription & payments. We use a payment provider (e.g., Stripe) to process purchases; we don’t store full payment card details.
• Usage & service metadata. Events like credit usage, feature toggles, and error logs to operate and secure the service.
• Content you submit. URLs, text you paste, LinkedIn profile context you explicitly capture, selected Google News edition and target language—used to generate your email drafts.

Note: When you trigger generation, relevant page HTML snippets and/or extracted article text may be sent to our servers for processing, solely to create your draft and related features (e.g., hashing, progress).

Browser extension

• Runs only on pages you permit and acts when you use its menu/action.
• Fetches article HTML and extracts content to help build your draft.
• Sends extracted snippets and context to our backend only to generate the email you requested.
• Does not continuously monitor your browsing or sell your data.

Cookies & third parties

We may use essential cookies for authentication and session management. If present, analytics or error-monitoring tools are used to improve reliability and do not sell your personal information. We also use Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms; Google may collect device/usage data under its own policies.

How we use your data

• Provide and improve the service (draft generation, credits, performance, and support).
• Detect, prevent, and address security or abuse.
• Communicate about service changes, billing, and support.

Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Generated drafts and processing inputs may be kept transiently for reliability and support, then deleted or anonymized.

Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No method is 100% secure; please keep your account credentials private and your devices updated.

Your choices & rights

• Access, correct, or delete your data where applicable.
• Export your content where feasible.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.
